Contract Description
Beach Recycling Hayling Island Seafront.
Shingle is excavated using 52-tonne excavators and transported to the groynes in 40-tonne dump trucks. Dozers are then utilised to spread, level, and profile the shingle in accordance with the client's design requirements.
Our plant holding includes a substantial fleet of heavy machinery, allowing us to specify and deploy the optimum number of machines to ensure the works remain on programme and are completed efficiently.
During the previous campaign, shingle was deposited onto the beach by dredger using a rainbowing technique to place material along the shoreline. Dozers were subsequently used to spread, level, and profile the beach to meet the client's specified design.
